My husband and I opened our shop Main & Mersey Home Store in Liverpool, Nova Scotia in 2017 after an epic cross Atlantic move from London, UK to my home country's Maritime Coast. We wanted to enjoy a lifestyle that being next to the ocean could provide. Part of our plan was to open a home decor store in this beautiful little town. We brought our own étoile home collection (see below) of cushions, fabrics, table linens and toiletry bags but we also wanted to provide a well curated collection of pretty things for the home from Canada as well as around the world for locals and tourists alike. We hope you will enjoy shopping with us online but you will also come to visit us on Nova Scotia's beautiful South Shore and check out the new Japanese Fusion Dining Room & Coffee Bar at 267 Main Street featuring Anchored Coffee roasted in Dartmouth and fresh French pastries made in house. We have now closed our bricks and mortar home store but you can still shop a limited collection online.

About étoile home
I launched étoile Home in 2006 and in the nine years since, my ethos and approach to design has stood strong and fast. I believe that your home should be a reflection of your life and personality. A beautiful, colourful and creative place that you can live and play in. With this always at the forefront of my mind, I use my experience as a fashion and interiors stylist; inspiration from my travels around the globe; and the needs of my own family as the starting point for all my designs. For me, great design should bring a sense of fun, joy and excitement to the everyday items surrounding us. Practical can be beautiful too.
Our collections have expanded over the years with toiletry bags, hand bags and most recently the humble tea towel sitting perfectly along side our bold throw pillows and perfectly practical table linens, of which étoile Home has become synonymous for in the interior and design press. The detailed and meticulous design of our products, is equally as important as the emphasis we command on delivering quality and practical solutions for the home.
étoile Home's modern and fresh take on retro prints, that sing with statement colours, have seen us collaborate with the likes of retail and design giants Anthropologie and Uniqlo. More than a decade on from when we started we are lucky enough to see our collections being sold internationally. However we are very proud to support our home grown industry, with the vast majority of our products not only being designed in England, but also made in England. We proudly design all our own products and make the majority of them in England but we are looking to start more production of our products in Canada now that we are calling it home.
